Survey types
The SurveyType variable is defined for surveys. It determines the nature of the quantities to be evaluated by the survey; different objects allow different SurveyType values. The complete list of all supported SurveyType values is given below.
For the FrameName options, symbol ✔ indicates that the option is available, symbol ✖ indicates that the option is not available, and symbol (♠) indicates the default option.

SurveyType = ACCELERATIONS evaluate the accelerations within the element. Three acceleration and three angular acceleration components are evaluated.
Available options for FrameName: Inertial Frame, ✔ (♠), Local Frame, ✔, FrameName, ✔. 
SurveyType = AIRSTATION_LOADS evaluates aerodynamic loading at an airstation of the lifting line. Three force components and three moment components are evaluated per unit length of the lifting line, at the airfoil quarterchord.
Available options for FrameName: Inertial Frame, ✔, Local Frame (♠), ✔, FrameName, ✔. 
SurveyType = FLOW_PARAMETERS evaluates the flow parameters at an airstation of the lifting line. The flow parameters are: the three components of the relative velocity of the flow with respect to the airfoil, measured in the airfoil frame, the component of inflow velocity along the  a_{3} direction, the airfoil angle of attack, measured in degrees, and its mach number.

SurveyType = CIRCULATIONS evaluates displacements within the element. Three displacement components and three rotation components are evaluated.

SurveyType = DISPLACEMENTS evaluates displacements within the element. Three displacement components and three rotation components are evaluated.

SurveyType = EIGEN_DISPLACEMENTS evaluates eigen displacements within the element. Three displacement components and three rotation components are evaluated for each requested eigen mode.

SurveyType = EIGEN_FORCES. Evaluates the eigen forces within the beam. Three force components and three moment components are evaluated for each requested eigen mode.

SurveyType = EIGEN_FORCES_CENTER. Evaluates the eigen forces within the beam. Three force components and three moment components are evaluated. With this option, the torque, M_{1}^{k}, is computed with respect to the shear center and the bending moments, M_{2}^{c} and M_{3}^{c}, with respect to the centroid, for each requested eigen mode.

SurveyType = EIGEN_STRAINS. Evaluates the eigen forces within the beam. Three force components and three moment components are evaluated for each requested eigen mode.

SurveyType = FORCES evaluates the forces within the element. Three force components and three moment components are evaluated.

SurveyType = FORCES_CENTER evaluates the forces within the beam. Three force components and three moment components are evaluated. With this option, the torque, M_{1}^{k}, is computed with respect to the shear center, and the bending moments, M_{2}^{c} and M_{3}^{c}, with respect to the centroid.

SurveyType = NB_STRAINS. Used in NormalBuilder. Evaluates the strain distribution through the thickness of a layup. Three inplane strain components and three outofplane strain components are evaluated.
Available options for FrameName: none. 
SurveyType = NB_STRESSES. Used in NormalBuilder. Evaluates the stress distribution through the thickness of a layup. Three inplane stress components and three outofplane stress components are evaluated.
Available options for FrameName: none. 
SurveyType = POSITIONS evaluates positions in the element. Three positions and three orientation components are evaluated.
Available options for FrameName: Inertial Frame, ✔ (♠), Local Frame, ✖, FrameName, ✔. 
SurveyType = STRAINS evaluates the states of the dynamic inflow model. A single state of the inflow model is evaluated for each sensor.

SurveyType = VELOCITIES evaluates velocities at Point0Name of the element. Three linear velocity components are evaluated.
