A bulk is a topological entity, see fig 1, which points to an arbitrary number of vertices, Vertex0Name, Vertex1Name, ..., VertexNName. Figure 1 shows the configuration of a bulk with three vertices.

In some instances, it will be required to distinguish the order in which the vertices were defined. Figure 1 shows the names of the vertices as VertexA, VertexB and VertexC; the labels v0, v1 and v2 indicate the order in which the were defined; in this case, Vertex0Name = VertexA, Vertex1Name = VertexB and Vertex3Name = VertexC.

  • Optionally, the bulk is associated with one triad, Triad0Name.
  • It is possible to attach comments to the definition of the object; these comments have no effect on its definition.
