The linear constraint element is a holonomic constraint element that is associated with an edge, EdgeName. The linear constraint element involves degrees of freedom d_{0} and d_{1} at vertices Vertex0Name and Vertex1Name of edge EdgeName. If u_{0} and u_{1} are those two degrees of freedom, the linear constraint writes: α_{0} u_{0} + α_{1} u_{1} = 0, where α_{0} and α_{1} are the linear constraint coefficients.
