The Maxwell fluid branch, shown in fig. 1, is a component of an elastomeric damper model.

NOTES

  1. The Maxwell fluid branch is defined by two parameters.
    1. An elastic spring of stiffness constant kv > 0.
    2. A characteristic time, τ = ηv / kv > 0.
