NOTES

  1. The physical properties of oils are defined in this section for use in conjunction with hydraulic device models. These properties are the oil viscosity, density and bulk modulus. The pressure dependent bulk modulus, B, is defined in terms of two coefficients based on the following formula

    B = (1 + α p + β p2) / (α + 2β p),

    where p is the oil pressure.
