NormalBuilder user's manual

This user's manual describes the input that is required to define the through-the-thickness analysis of laminated composite plates and shells using NormalBuilder. The input file is divided into the four segments listed below, each segment is introduced by a specific keyword. The four keywords must appear in the input file, file.nob.

  1. This segment lists the parameters that control the overall process.

  3. This segment defines all the objects that define the flexible multibody dynamics model. The objects defined under the Dymore manual navigation panel on the left can all appear in this segment.

  5. This segment lists the parameters used to drive NormalBuilder. The keywords within this segment can appear in any order. If no parameters need to be defined, the corresponding keyword can be skipped.
